SO FAR BUSH RESEMBLES HITLER
IN SOME IMPORTANT WAYS

WHAT'S NEXT, WORLD WAR THREE?
THEY ARE THREATENING NUCLEAR STRIKES
ON IRAN AND OTHER COUNTRIES
THEY MUST BE STOPPED

THE BUSH CO-CONSPIRATORS AIM TO
FUNDAMENTALLY ALTER AND DESTROY
AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT
THEY MUST BE STOPPED

IF WE ARE TO LEARN ANYTHING FROM HISTORY
IT IS THAT WE MUST RECOGNIZE
WHO THE ENEMY REALLY IS
IF THEY ARE TO BE STOPPED

PROOF OF CRIMINALITY GROWS MORE ABUNDANT AND CLEAR ALMOST DAILY

THEY ARE RUTHLESS MASS MURDERERS
THEY MUST BE STOPPED
OR ELSE HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

Watch this video lest there be any doubts
about what we are up against

Are you ready
for the Bush police state?

We are all in this together
whether you believe it or not
but if you're blind to reality
you're part of the problem

It's clear the sinister direction Bush is going
even though he and his co-conspirators portray the eroding of the Constitution as if it's necessary, and for our own good
BUT IT'S NOT
The question really is then
what can we do to stop Bush?

Or is it too late?

6.10.2006: Somehow I wound up at www.townhall.com/opinion/books_entertainment/reviews/benshapiro/200642.html and was disgusted by some brownshirt nut job named Ben Shapiro who's apparently been licking up the latest verbal vomit from Ann Coulter. I have to wonder how stupid anyone can possibly be to fall for the low tricks that vile woman plays with her words. I've known people before who use words to sow hatred like she does, and they haven't ever been nice people. With sly innuendo and by commiting the very crimes with words they loudly disdain in others, they present a worldview based on misconceptions so that their lies may be believed. Case in point: Coulter routinely rails against 'straw men' -- false pictures she creates in the reader's mind by defining something that doesn't exist but acting as if it applies to her foes. In this case one of her major straw men is that 'Liberalism is a Godless religion' (as if no Liberals believe in God and that being a Liberal is something like believing in a religion, both false ideas) which she then draws all kinds of ridiculous conclusions from, like all Liberals reject God and are therefore bad, or that she'd be 'crestfallen' to find any Liberals in Heaven (as if that nasty rich bitch's stone cold ugly soul would ever qualify). That particular straw man lie does however serve a number of purposes for Coulter's right-wing extremism at the same time that it supports more sub-lies. First, since she cites science as the 'religion' of Liberalism, she can make a certain kind of ignorant person feel that their fundamentalist religion is just as valid as science. That would seem to put science and religion on a kind of playing field in which it would seem that anyone ought to legitimately be able to pick religion over science, it's just a matter of what you believe, right? And who do we all know who is absolutely convinced they know God's mind and intentions for humankind and that they alone are right and correct in their choice of the one true religion? Well really religious fanatics of all stripes but in this case the dangerous ones, the neoPuritans of the relgious right, are the Christian BuyBull-thumpers represented by the 'aging ingenue' Coulter. They're extremists like Coulter who describe what is actually the majority of Americans as 'traitors' or 'Godless' because they don't agree with Coulter's narrow twisted view of reality. A view that embraces Senator Joe McCarthy as a good guy, excuses and justifies torture and murder by the Bush administration, preemptive wars based on lies, spying on Americans and lying lying lying raised to an art form by the extremists who've seized our government. Today's right-wingers seem little different from the "good Germans" who supported Hitler's atrocities of times past, that most of us thought the world had learned an important lesson from. But apparently not, there are still people who think harsh authoritarian rule is the way our government should go. We need to take it back or things are only going to get much worse in America and in the world.
Again and again, we keep creeping toward totalitarianism.

Don Goldwater, nephew of the late Sen. Barry Goldwater, caused an international stir this week when EFE, a Mexican news service, quoted him as saying he wanted to hold undocumented immigrants in camps to use them "as labor in the construction of a wall and to clean the areas of the Arizona desert that they're polluting." The article described Goldwater's plan as a "concentration camp" for migrants. Goldwater, a candidate for governor in Arizona, said in a statement Friday that his comments were taken out of context. He said he was calling for a work program for convicted nonviolent felons, similar to "tried and tested, effective and accepted practices" used by state and local jails. But two Republicans, Arizona Sen. John McCain and Rep. Jim Kolbe, called Goldwater's comments "deeply offensive" and asked state Republicans to reject his candidacy in the Sept. 12 primary. "That Mr. Goldwater is either unaware of or indifferent to the loaded symbolism, injustice and un-Americanism of his 'plan' to address the many serious issues caused by illegal immigration reveals his flaws as a candidate and a stunning lack of respect for the basic values of a generous and decent society," McCain said in a statement. Kolbe said that if the comments are true, Goldwater "has demonstrated his complete unworthiness for public office, and I am confident he will be soundly rejected by Republicans from the party of Barry Goldwater, who consistently demonstrated his compassion and respect for all people. This is a sad day in the national debate on immigration policy." McCain and Kolbe favor a guest-worker program for illegal immigrants. Goldwater made a similar comment at an April anti-immigration rally. "Build us that wall now!" Goldwater said, referring to a proposal to add 700 miles of fences along the U.S.-Mexico border. He promised then that if elected, he would put illegal immigrants in a tent city on the border and use their labor to build the wall. Barry Goldwater, the former Arizona senator, was the Republican presidential nominee in 1964. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/print?id=2112878
